Happy Thanksgiving!

This week was good. Monday Sister Bento and I went to Maceió for Leadership Meeting on Tuesday. Wednesday I went on exchanges with Sister Dos Anjos. She is really awesome and we had a good time. We knocked on a door and a woman answered who had received the missionaries a few years ago. She let us teach a lesson and at the end she prayed. Afterwards she started crying and said that she was far from God and was needing help. We told her that Heavenly Father loves her and that´s why He sent us there. She agreed and accepted a return appointment. I´m excited to hear from Sister Dos Anjos if she progresses!

Thursday President and Sister Gomes came to our Zone Meeting. Sister Bento and I gave a little shpeel on following the Spirit. I even teared up (how embarrassing), but I think it added a little dramatic effect haha

Erica and Antonio and Renata and Marcelo and their families all came to church yesterday. They are all super excited, but waiting to get married. I know that the Lord will provide a way. We ate lunch with an awesome couple yesterday. She is Brazilian and he is American. It was fun to talk to him a little about the States, thanksgiving, etc. and he made brownies for dessert! YUM!

I read something during exchanges that I thought was super cool: Pray like Enos, Obey like Lehi, Believe like Nephi, Record like Mormon, Command like Moroni, Preach like Alma, Love like Jesus. The Book of Mormon is full of examples of valient believers of Christ. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon and the teachings it contains. I know that it is the word of God and that it helps us come unto our Savior better than any other book. Have an awesome week and share the Book of Mormon with someone you love!
