The weeks are going faster and faster! We taught a ton of lessons this week. I am getting lots of practice teaching in Portuguese and I can understand more every day! One dificult thing is that I am starting to recognize different accents. All 3 of the Sisters I live with have different accents than the people of Maceió. It´s like trying to learn English living with someone from Brooklyn, Texas, and Utah while in London! haha but they are great :)

We taught 2 lessons this week to a couple named Tanna and Edson. They have the cutest baby named Elouise! During the  first lesson she came and laid her head on my lap and let me play with her hair. She´s darling and has definitely stolen my heart :) And her parents love our lessons, especially about the Restoration of the Gospel so keep them in your prayers. I´m really hoping something comes from it!

One crazy thing that happened this week is on Tuesday I woke up with my left eye all swollen and a fever! We went to the doctor and he said it was an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite! I used some eye drops and I am all better! But I was definitely looking like Quazi Moto for a day hahaha.

My thought for this week is to look every day for the hand of the Lord in your life. It´s amazing how much happier you are when you are looking for your blessings. I´m so thankful for all of you and the love and support I receive each week. I´m thankful for this church and I´m thankful for my Savior. I´m so grateful that he suffered not only for my sins, but also for my pains and sicknesses. I know that we can always turn to Him in times of need and He will understand perfectly.
