This week was jammed-packed, which is great because the week goes by super fast. Wednesday we had Mission Tour. Elder Aiducaitis of the Seventy came and spoke to us about Chapter 8 in Preach My Gospel which talks about Using Time Wisely. He gave us some great ideas about making our weeks more productive. Really awesome. Something that I really liked that he said was about obedience, faith, and miracles. Ether 12 talks a lot about how miracles happen when we have faith, and he quoted Elder McConkie, "Faith is a gift from God given to those who are obedient." So if we are obedient we will have faith, and if we have faith we will make miracles!
Saturday night was a Relief Society Activity called, "Virtuous Women." They went all out. Gave me some good ideas for decorations for my wedding haha. They had 6 women dresses in tunics/dresses and they spoke a little about 6 women from the Bible (Eve, Sarah, Rebekah, Ruth, Ester, and Mary). Then they took off the tunics and spoke about their personal testimonies. It was super cool. Rubia, the Relief Society Preisdent, wanted to show how we aren´t different from the women of the scriptures. Each of us has a divine mission to complete here on the Earth.
I´m so grateful to be here on the mission and the opportunity I have to work with awesome leaders. I´m learning a lot about how to be a better member and a better leader when I get home. Sure love you all and hope you have a great week!
