Carnaval and Transfers!

Olá!
Well it´s transfers again. I can´t believe it´s already been six weeks! I have been transferred and Sister Ferreira will stay here in Jardim Alagoas. I´m sad to be leaving her, but I´m really exciting to meet tons of new people! We´ll find out where I´m going and our new companions tomorrow at transfer meeting.
Also, tomorrow is Carnaval. The Brazilians celebrate carnaval for 4 days so work was rough for us yesterday and saturday. Almost everyone here left for the beach. Seriously, I have never seen the streets so empty, and almost everything is closed! Yesterday the two wards that use our chapel combined because so many people were out of town. But everything should be back to normal by Thursday :)
But the exciting news: Juan was baptized Wednesday! We are so excited for him, and I know he is going to be an awesome member missionary because he loves to talk to EVERYONE haha. We actually met him because he came up and started talking to us :)
Something I learned this week is that we always need to be learning. Sometimes we have to go a little outside our comfort zone in order to grow. But that´s because we have so much more potencial than we know! Seriously, we have the potencial to become like our Heavenly Parents. Anything is possible! Do a little more, go the extra mile, see just how much you are capable of. That´s my little thought for this week :) Love you all!
Tchau,
Sister Lopez
